Dan has been an insurance advisor since 2004 and a Registered Health Underwriter/ Certified Health Insurance Specialist since 2006. He leads the offices of MacLellan Moffatt across Canada, with clients throughout Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

I live and work in Truro, Nova Scotia and have been in the insurance industry for 15 years. One of the things I enjoy most about my career is getting to know my clients and hearing all about their vacation plans and travels. When I’m not working, I can typically be found in a rink cheering on one of my son’s hockey teams or camping with my family. In my downtime, I love reading and going for walks with my dog. In the future I would like to travel to Italy; all of my favourite things in one place, coffee, pasta and wine!

I live and work in Halifax, and have 8 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
I enjoy getting to know my clients and building a relationship with them. Oftentimes in our tech-driven world there is a lack of real human interaction. I like bringing a personalized approach to my industry.

While completing my undergraduate degree in Victoria, BC I met so many people from all over the world. I developed a love for cooking, and eating that continues to inspire me to this day. When not chasing my two rambunctious children you can probably find me with a book (and a lap-cat), or doing another 1,000 piece puzzle . I love to travel. When I’m on vacation I enjoy exploring on foot, visiting museums, or having a dip in the ocean. In the future I want to travel to Europe to visit places that inspired my favorite authors.

My expertise is in international and Canadian student group plans, as well as competitive group sports travel insurance. In 2016, I transitioned to focus on the consumer insurance market. I am committed to delivering personalized service and fostering lasting client relationships. I am known for navigating complex insurance regulations, and my meticulous tailoring of insurance solutions to meet clients’ needs and budgets. I was raised in multicultural Kenya. This created my passion for travel and diverse cultures. I have traveled throughout Canada and the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I look forward to more exploring in Asia and beyond.

With 20 years insurance and investment experience in Canada and abroad, I bring a wealth of knowledge to assist with your health and travel insurance needs. My business degree specializing in travel and tourism fuels my passion for exploring new cultures and cuisines. Most recently, I have been combining my love for travel and motorsports. From driving my side-by-side through sand dunes to riding my snowmobile in the mountains, this allows me to explore and navigate through inaccessible terrain and explore remote locations. I am passionate about connecting with our clients to find the perfect insurance solution.

I am a Vancouver, BC based insurance agent who is passionate about helping my clients protect themselves and their families. We all have unique needs and it is my job to find coverage that would be most suitable to yours! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time camping, boating and hiking with my two kids and husband. On rainy days I love to try my hand at baking. I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.

Oree Weatherby, Director of Compliance and Contracting

I joined the team in the fall of 2022, working primarily behind the scenes to support daily operations. I have since stepped into an expanded role within the company in Licensing & Contracting, helping ensure the business operates with care, consistency, and works toward its long-term vision. My background in business and a focus in tourism and hospitality, helps me bring a people-centered mindset, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented approach. Outside of work, I cherish quiet time with my growing family and enjoy exploring traveling to new places.
